Past few days it’s turned out to be Ajith's Mankatha mania. The way Sun Pictures portrays its Mankatha success definitely hurts Vijay’s fans. Moreover Vijay movie in near future will not be acquired by Sun Pictures.

But no regrets for Vijay fans because he has lot of big projects lined up with Gautham, Murugadoss, Shankar. I don’t see any actor dance as effortlessly as Vijay. He's got good dress sense. His mannerisms are a treat to his fans. Vijay will rock this Diwali

Details on AR Murugadoss and Vijay project

Vijay’s film to be directed by AR Murugadoss is taking shape despite the director busy with 7aam Arivu’s audio launch and movie release. The latest we hear on this project from sources in Kollywood is that the director of photography for the Vijay-starrer will be Santhosh Sivan.

Grapevine has it that Harris Jayaraj may be the music director for this flick but this has not been finalized as yet. With AR Murugadoss completing 7aam Arivu and Vijay free of Nanban, we can expect an announcement on their project soon.

Santosh Sivan to do the Vijay film

It’s official internationally reputed cinematographer Santosh Sivan will be the cameraman of Vijay’s new film to be directed by AR Murgadoss.
The film will start rolling in a few days and will be produced by Vijay’s father SA Chandrasekhar in association with Aascar Ravichandran and marketed worldwide by Fox Star Studios.
Former Kingfisher calendar girl Angela Johnson is debuting as heroine opposite Vijay.
Speaking exclusively to sify.com Santosh Sivan said: “Yes I’m doing the Murgadoss directed film with Vijay. A few years back I was to do the Hindi version of Ghajini but it did not happen due to various reasons. Now my directorial venture Ceylon got postponed. I thought during the break I will turn DOP (Director of Photography) work which I enjoy a lot. In Tamil I have only done DOP for Mani sir and Suhasini. I like Vijay films and looking forward to working with him and Murgadoss.”

Vijay Antony has given an impressive track which is loud yet lighter and catchier. Haricharan's subtly vocalized version works well, exuding a lovable monologue for the male lead.

Vijay Antony gleams out to produce a soft-folklore composing in 'molachu' song. Distinctive from the musical flavor of the album, it is soothing, earthy and mature. Sony Music Chennai, said Velayutham breaks all records!

In a press statement Ashok Parwani, Sony Music Entertainment Chennai, said, “We are overwhelmed with the response the movie and the music have received. Velayudham has broken all records and we have sold all our units within a day of its launch. The soundtracks are original, soulful and memorable. We’re sure that the compositions will go down in history as some of the best melodies of our times.”

The audio launch held in Madurai on August 28th was a grand success with over one lakh Vijay fans attending the event. And to add to this success, all the audio CDs were sold on day one of the audio launch. This has created a new record!
Music director Vijay Antony has scored the music for Velayutham and the six tracks in the film are: Rathathin Rathamay (Haricharan, Madhumitha), Molachu Moonu (Prasanna, Supriya Joshi), Chillax (Karthik, Charulatha Mani Mayam), Seidhayo (Sangeetha Rajeshwaran), Sonna Puriyadhu (Vijay Antony, Veera Shankar), Vela Vela (Vijay Antony, Mark).

வேலாயுதம் பாடல் வெளியீடு: ரசிகர்களுக்கு விஜய் அழைப்பு

விஜய் நடிக்கும் வேலாயுதம் படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்துள்ளது. இதில் ஜோடியாக ஜெனிலியா, ஹன்சிகா நடித்துள்ளனர். ராஜா இயக்கி உள்ளார். ஆஸ்கார் பிலிம்ஸ் வி. ரவிச்சந்திரன் தயாரித்துள்ளார். ரூ.45 கோடிக்கும் அதிகமான பட்ஜெட்டில் இது தயாராகி உள்ளது.

இப்படத்தின் பூஜை சென்னையில் ரசிகர்கள் முன்னிலையில் நடந்தது. இதுபோல் பாடல் வெளியீட்டு விழாவையும் ரசிகர்கள் முன்னிலையில் நடத்துகின்றனர். இவ்விழா வருகிற 28-ந் தேதி மதுரையில் நடக்கிறது. விழாவில் பங்கேற்க வரும்படி ரசிகர்களுக்கு விஜய் அழைப்பு விடுத்துள்ளார்.

விழா ஏற்பாடுகளை ஆஸ்கார் ரவிச்சந்திரன் செய்து வருகிறார். பாடல் காட்சிகள் ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் தலா ரூ.2 கோடிக்கு மேல் செலவிடப்பட்டுள்ளதாம். சண்டை காட்சிகளையும் பல கோடி செலவில் எடுத்துள்ளனர். கிளைமாக்ஸ் காட்சியை மட்டும் 25 நாட்கள் 4 மாவட்டங்களில் எடுத்துள்ளனர்

Expectations are running high on Vijay starrer , which is expected to hit the screens soon. Buzz is that Vijay plays an angry young man, who fights the evil system in the country.
Giving him company are Hanshika Motwani and Genelia,Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, the movie is directed by Jayam Raja.The filmmaker is all praise for Vijay. He says, ‘ it was my wish todirect him long back. Unfortunately it came late. But enjoy working every moment with him’.

'Nanban' goes to Telugu

Many top-notch stars have successfully dubbed their Tamil films into Telugu and the dubbed versions too have been a good market amidst Telugu crowd. Now one more name is all set to be added on to this list of heroes, none other than that of 'Ilayathalapathy'.

The shooting of director Shankar's 'Nanban' is taking place in a flurry. Initially the film was touted to be released as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, with Mahesh Babu being roped in to play the role of Vijay in Telugu. But the actor has backed off from this project for reasons he best knows, and now it will be a dubbed version of 'Nanban' for the Telugu audience.

Vijay has a huge fan following in Tamil Nadu as well as the neighboring Kerala. Now will Vijay be able to weave his magic spell on the Telugu audience too... needs to be seen. If this film clicks then it will pave way for a host of other films of the actor to follow the suit...

வேலாயுதத்தை பார்த்து கப் சிப் ஆன விஜய்!

போஸ்ட் புரொடக்ஷன் பணிகளில் இருக்கும் வேலாயுதம் படத்தை போட்டுப் பார்த்த நடிகர் விஜய், தனது கருத்து எதுவும் சொல்லாமல் கப் சிப்பாகி விட்டாராம். டைரக்டர் ராஜா இயக்கத்தில் வேலாயுதம் படத்தில் நடித்து வருகிறார் விஜய். இந்தப் படத்தின் சூட்டிங் சமீபத்தில்தான் முடிந்தது. படத்தின் போஸ்ட் புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் பணிகள் நடந்து வருகின்றன.

கோபத்தை கைவிட்டார் விஜய் : கையிலெடுக்கிறார் சீமான்!!

டைரக்டர் சீமான் இயக்கத்தில் விஜய் நடிக்கவிருப்பதாக கூறப்பட்ட கோபம் படத்தை கிட்டத்தட்ட கைவிட்டுவிட்டார் விஜய். ஆனால் சீமான் அதே கோபத்தை வேறு நடிகரை வைத்து இயக்கவிருப்பதாக தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன. சீமான் இயக்கத்தில் விஜய் நடிக்கப்போகும் படத்திற்கு கோபம், பகலவன் என பலபல டைட்டில்கள் கூறப்பட்டன. எந்த டைட்டிலும் உறுதி செய்யப்படாத நிலையில் சீமான சிறைவாசத்துக்குள்ளானார். சிறைக்குள் இருந்தபடியே கோபம் படத்தின் கதையை எழுதி முடித்த சீமான், சிறையில் இருந்து வெளியே வந்ததும் தேர்தல் பிரசாரத்தில் பிஸியானார். இடையில் கிடைத்த நேரத்தில் எல்லாம் விஜய்க்கு கதை சொன்ன சீமான், கதை சொல்லிச் சொல்லியே ஓய்ந்து விட்டாராம்.
